For Spring Summer 2012, the Pal Zileri Cerimonia collection offers a mix of themes, in which cuts, shapes, materials and coordinations narrate different moments of the same story: a special day celebrated with style. An event characterized by tradition, but without sacrificing a touch of modern: this is the mood narrated by the vast choice of morning and semi-morning suits, with lengths and widths suitable for all fittings. In accordance with custom, fabrics are chosen in blacks and anthracite greys, combined with optic whites and natural colours, or pearl greys and midnight blues as an alternative. The theatre, parties, gala evenings: these are the events for which these garments have been created, with sequins, Swarovski crystals, chains and studs applied to give luminosity and movement to fabrics and details. Black is the dominant colour. For a classic formal occasion, such as an afternoon reception, the collection proposes short jackets developed in a new mischievous style with narrow and lowered lapels, minimal flaps and trims, fitting designed to sculpt the most demanding figures. Fabrics are chosen in natural fibres, such as wool and silk combined for a more sober cut, or mixed with synthetic fibres for a more fashionable impact. The choice of colours revolves around shades of grey (from anthracite to silver), midnight blue and dark brown with hints of gold. Coloured trimming along the edges of the jackets offers a hint of freshness. Fabrics range from classic stripes (tone on tone or slightly contrasting) to solid colours, to increasingly fashionable microstructures and micropatterns, all united by a sophistication that allows them to be coordinated and used with great freedom. Brilliance returns as a motif, through the use of Swarovski crystals, applied to create sparkling points also on the accessories and shirts.
